Ethereum's Merge is expected to take place within Q3/Q4 2022, which could result in new forked tokens. OceanEx will closely monitor this progress over this period.
- OceanEx will support the Ethereum’s Merge and will suspend all ETH deposits and withdrawals before this Merge. A separate announcement about the exact time for ETH suspension will be made in advance.
- For any potential new forked tokens that may be generated along with the Merge, OceanEx will be evaluating its distribution and withdrawal.
- To ensure our user’s funds safe on OceanEx, any new forked tokens that may be generated after the Merge will be funneled through a listing review process on OceanEx. We will determine whether to support the new forked tokens listing based on evaluation results.
